If it's not your debt and they are chasing you for money you don't owe, send them the following, add and amend to suit,

Change the following 'Please stop trying to recover the debt that you allege I owe in this manner.'

Explain that the debt has been previously been disputed. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

Update when you get a response.

I have tried saying this to them but they bought the debt from three mobile and three mobile said its my debt but its a bit complicated I originally opened an account for my sons use but after the 2 year contract had run its course I rang three .obile and said I don't wish to renew this contract but my son wants to keep the number so we made a verbal agreement that they were putting the account into my sons name and address but they said he would have to be paying the account for 5 months before they could upgrade him so I said that's fine.then after about 5 or six weeks they upgraded him all without my knowledge or consent but they are saying I gave him permission to upgrade which I never did and then said the reason the contract stayed in my name was because of arrears none of which three mobile can prove all they have provided is a dodgy looking bill with my name plonked on it at my sons address.
