    This is in Scotland.
What instructions has the Court given you?
You normally are instructed by the Court to provide a Witness Statement / Evidence bundle (how do I prove it) before the Hearing (they would give you a date by which date it has to be provided).

I have given the witness statement, but Cabot only lodged the agreement 9 days before the hearing, and it was carried forward to march, the hearing didn't even start, I just need to know that if I lodge the correct agreement can it be used against me

It is up to the Claimant to provide the correct documentation not you.
The Judges / Courts are a 'fickle' bunch, the Judge / Courts could take
the view that, he has before him / her a valid agreement, so could find
        that the 'debt' is enforceable.

What you have said is that the claim account number isn't the same account
number as the agreement they have provided as evidence.

It is a 100% up to them to make their case, do you really want to help them?

I don't want to help them, but the sheriff might just say well we have an agreement that must be it?

That's why you need to make your case.
See if the document you have has a reference number on the sides or bottom of the page.
