  • Mortimer Clarke referred back to Cabot

    Hi there

I have a CCJ from Cabot and it was Mortimer Clarke that dealt with this. My income is very low at the moment and made up of mostly disability benefits. I send income/expenditure forms every 30 days to MC and have done so for the past two years. There was never any spare money available to set up a payment plan. They said as long as I stay in contact my account is on hold. They have today sent me a letter saying my account with MC is closed and they are referring this back to Cabot. What does that mean? What might the implications be?

I wouldn't like to 'hazard' a guess. But update the thread when and if they may contact.
They've been kept updated by you, so hopefully 'a long shot', they might write the debt
off. You could consider asking them to do that, if things aren't going to improve for you.

Remove the first line as it's not correct. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.
