Ok so I need to respond by June 2nd. If I make an offer of repayment each week/month, do I have to fill in that tick box reply form saying wether I owe the debt etc or do I just put it in writing what I can pay each month? Thanks

Write Without Prejudice on the letter, make a monthly payment offer, they may ask you to fill in an Income and Expenditure form.

If you are left with £1 to pay them, so be it.

Just for update I made an offer of 28% to MC and the reasons why I got into the debt etc. They responded saying:

We are instructed by our client (Cabot) to close your account.

Your account has been referred back to our client and your debt remains outstanding. Our client’s agent will be in touch in due course, as appropriate.

that was just more than 2 weeks ago

I don't think you need to go chasing this.

You have a letter from their agents saying their Client will contact you.

So no doubt the Client will contact you when they are ready to do so.
