    Hi their looking for help regards a credit card nolans took the debt from cabot for £1.031 and had received letters then a threat of court action

    I decided I should acknowledge the letter sent to my home so I emailed nolans to confirm however I also said I did not acknowledge this debt and i asked for cca , original contract, final account , signed agreement etc ,

    Reply was had to confirm my name etc before could go any further for data protection so i said yes it was me they then sent another email on 27/08/24 to say thanks had the information and requested all documentation from their clients and would be in touch in due course

    I received a letter today dated 13/09/24 please see attached correspondence for your reference hear from me in 7days

    Basically letter
    1) is from marbles reference marbles credit card and about 30numbers

    Writing to notify you dated 22/03/23 that have assigned everything to cabot and was sold as at 28/02/23

    2) letter 2 is from cabot with headline saying my reference number original lender newday account number which is the same as the huge credit card reference number mentioned above
    Saying letter was sent on 22/03/23

    3) expenditure forms

    Their is no mention of cca or anything or any signed agreement or accounts

    Do I need to ask for this now I notice the £1 thing am really trying to stay on top of this but I know they are meant to give cca uf ask for it help would be appreciated

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
