I think you need to get all your info from Monument (Barclays)
For the SAR etc, I used ; 1234 Pavilion Drive
      Northampton

As far as I know it would be monument that you would claim from not cabot!! I take it cabot is a debt collection agency yes?

          yup what enaid said.
if cabots is just a collection agency...which i suspect it is...they won't have any of your account information. send the SAR to the addy enaid has given you.
          good luck

Cabot are indeed at DCA and a particularly nasty one as well. Send the CCA to them and hopefully they won't be able to produce the right documents and hey ho you have them off your back. During which time you can get on with claiming back your charges etc from Monument. Also I would double check to make sure that Monument have indeed sold the debt to Cabot.

              Suggest the following to Cabot

              Dear Sir/Madam

Be advised that this account is in dispute as I understand it includes unlawful penalty charges.

I also understand from your letter dated / / that you have purchased the account/contract together with all it's terms conditions and liabilities.

Therefore be advised that upon calculating the amount of unlawful charges plus interest I shall look to your company for reimbursement.

              Yours sincerely

Done this twice & watched them head for the hills poste haste

Great if they have bought the account, then all you have to do is play the waiting game in regards to the CCA request. My guess is that they will not have the right and proper paperwork at all. When you receive anything from them post it up and we can check it to see what rubbish they are passing on now.
