Hello everyone, I'm new here.
Having looked through past posts I can't find exactly what I'm looking for so, I hope someone can help me!
I'm dealing with a few old debts which I'm paying £1.00 a month on. I won't go into details now except a couple have said the debts are so old they cant access any records at the moment deeming them unenforceable.
The debt I am paying Wescot for was with Mint, who I've paid for many years.

I wrote to Wescot 14th November 2019 asking for the credit agreement etc. enclosing a £1.00 postal Order made out to Wescot..
I have now had a reply today quoting their reference number, balance etc. stating they are not the creditor but are instructed by the above client, which is Cabot financial Europe.
They then go on to say they are returning my Postal Order which is made to Wescot as it needs to be made payable to Cabot financial Ltd-RBS! I can either send the request direct to Cabot or resend it to them & they will forward it.
Is this normal practice? I always thought once I had done the above it was entirely up to Wescot to get the requested information as its them I'm paying & the P.O. was correctly made out.
