Oh ok, I did think that might be the case. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of what to respond, if I need to.

most companies have not the paperwork this type of claim they have to produce later in proceedings which if not then you would get the court to tell them,, but we always state CPR31.14 for what is mentioned in any claim, read other threads and you will see a pattern of procedures etc

When you say they have to produce later in court.. does this mean, if I defend the claim and say the claimant does not hold any paperwork, they are then given more time to get the paperwork. Sorry all of this really confuses me and my brain is not at 100% at the moment. Thanks.

I have sent off the CP31.14 to the solicitors but heard nothing in return so far.

usual non response at this stage, noted for defence and later asking judge they supply - usual trend of the solicitors, but as long as request in to them it is OK at this stage

I see. So once you defend your claim.. how long does it usually take before you hear anything from the courts?

the other side has to respond if they do not the case is shelved (Stayed) until if ever they do, if that was the case then they would have to apply for the case to continue and pay a fee

if after say 30 days you hear nothing from the court you ring them and they will let you know if case stayed or not?

Ok thank you. Do you think it is promising that they are trying to re-arrange a payment plan with me? Meaning they are not confident in the paperwork. or is that me just wishful thinking?
