To cut short a long story, I have made an lower full & final settlement offer to Mortimer Clarke for an old credit card debt, via email, they haven't replied to me for months, and I have sent 2 chase emails. How long do they have to reply to me? And why would they stop replying all of a sudden?

In answer to you questions, it may be because MC are no longer dealing with it or it maybe they do not accept official communication via email. I know when I have sent letters by email to other firms they have come back wanting name address DOB, Inside leg measurement, what I had for tea last night...you get the picture

Yes it is the same claim. CB have passed it to MC, MC sent me a pre action letter, I replied saying I needed more detail, then send a copy of the original agreement. I made a partial settlement offer, they replied saying no, I sent another, they haven't replied almost 3 months later. I am getting calls all the time, but no reply to my emails. The account is still with them as far as I know as I can still log into my account online with them. I mean what more can I do? I am worried they are just going to take it to court now and not reply.... can they do that?
