CCJ against a European airline

I got a CCJ against an airline in the EU but they then closed their company in the UK the following year. This was in 2001.

They still have European entities, what would be the process for asking a UK Judge to allow me to transfer the Judgment so it is against this entity in the EU?

Transavia Airlines. They folded their UK operation in the UK in 2021. I want to apply my Judgment against their Dutch company now. Can I apply to a UK court for this?

What is the exact name of the entity against whom you have obtained judgement?

CPR19 is the rule which covers adding or substituting parties. The procedure is set out in rule 19.4.

I suspect that it may not apply after judgement.

Also, has any applicable limitation period passed as regards the intended new party?

In terms of dates the original claim events happened? Or the Judgment re: 6 years to enforce?

In which case, over 6 years, and under 6 years.

You appear to have a limitation problem in terms of length of time since the cause of action arose; and don't forget that under international conventions many types of claims relating to international air travel have shorter limitation periods.

If there was no limitation issue - would I be able to apply to a Judge for the above?

I am not able to say how a judge might decide that application, if made. You will have observed the suspicion expressed in post #8.
