  • Combined court application

    Dear LegalBeagles,

    I have a following question.

I want to make two applications to the court, one is for extension of time to comply with the court ourder, and another to ask for a split trial on liability and quantum.
Both concern my clinical negligence claim.

Can I submit one application that combines both requests or do I have to submit two applications with each request separately?

The concern is, of courses the cost.

    Many thanks in advance.

You can combine them into one application. Be sure to allow sufficient time for the court to hear both sides on each application and give its decision.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
