  • Redacted emails

I carried out an SAR with an nhs outlet. Worst redaction? An email with my name written in block capitals in title begins with a short sentence stating 'Dear X, please read this before you assess his complaint''
The complainant has made a complaint about myself; Make sure you take the following into account''

5 bullet points are then visible BUT every word / sentence for 1.5 pages are then redacted. I complained and was told the redactions were made on personal grounds [oh, of course personal about me!]. I took it up with the ICO who refused to intervene, but said I could take it to court. I did research and it states a judge rarely reads the original/non redacted email/data and makes a decision, but will let the solicitors negotiate.

It is blatantly obvious the redactions are views about myself - not some personal stuff between frnds. Since my complaint [litigation] is regarding defamation & other law breaking. This nhs outlet also refused my complaint, breaking the nhs constitution. Anyone have any experience of this? Have tried .... solicitors w/o any help so far. I believe it would be looked at by the 1st tier of the CC.
