  • Chevrolet captiva- Garge issues

    Hi everyone,

    Firstly thanks for reading:

I bought a Chevrolet Captiva last year and had no issues at all until a few months back, DPF filter error light came on. I took it to a garage who stated DPF filter needed cleaning but also glow plugs needed to be replaced - I gave the okay for the work to be done but since this I've had the car back into the garage as it wouldn't start - they told me faulty alternator and battery are the cause. I agreed and the garage replaced these parts. The car run okay'ish for a few weeks and then same again with it not starting. Took it back to the garage who are now saying its an issue with the condenser leaking causing the engine fan to kick I'm and drain the battery.

Do I have a case for court proceedings as the car was perfectly fine before going to the garage?

I strongly believe they have caused the damage/faults

    Thanks

    Dean
