I've just checked the company on The Gazette - and to my amazement they're listed on there. They're trying to close down the business. From what I know I have about 3 months to object a ltd company from being struck off. How do I find the date they've been listed on The Gazette?

with the tenancy agreement being in the name of my family member, although I'm also a tenant at that property, can I make a claim to small claims court against the landlord with a written consent singed by my family member which outlines the extent of my authority?

The claim should be against the insurance company, nothing could be done until the loss assessor hs done anyhow. The agent hasn't purposefully mislead you, and nothing was in writing, your not the tenant. The way forward is to submit your claim to the insurance companycrazy council ( as in local council,NELC ) as a member of the public, i don't get mad, i get even

I am the tenant. I can also prove that the estate agent informed us about reimbursement for our accommodation. Although the agent hasn't purposefully mislead me, I have suffered financial losses as a result of their incompetence.
The issue is that when we moved into the property, the estate agent only listed one family member on the tenancy agreement which slightly complicates the issue as I'm not sure whether I can submit a claim to small claims court against the landlord, making me the claimant.
