I claimed an unpaid invoice that has been defended in mcol do I submit a argument or wait to see what happens , they are lying and trying all sorts not to pay

You will need to Reply to their Defence, you can Reply with your Directions Questionnaire. You will get a date by which time the Reply and Directions Questionnaire have to be filed.

Argument is for trial.
Evidence at trial is filed and exchanged via witness statements, which is the person's evidence in chief.
You have the right to make a reply to a Defence, but you are not required to.

Thanks for the replies , I’m going to respond to their defence which is full of false statements they threaten to counter sue if they don’t get away with not paying, whoever said taking someone to court is easy forgot to mention the stress created
