  • Defendant's name has changed since the claim form was issued

    Dear all,

I have issued protective proceedings against an organisation, which is a Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). I have not served the claim form etc.

Since the claim form was issued, the CCG has changed its name, and seemingly its address for correspondence too, which could prove to be a real pain.

I take it I would need to make an application to the Court to amend the name and address? If so, what is the best way to do that, and could that application be made 'without notice'?

    Sincere thanks in advance.
