  • Help with N244 form

Can someone point me in the direction of a guide that explains how to complete an N244 form that is not related to a CCJ for debt. Thanks

Have you read the N244 notes?

Court name: That depends whether the application relates to an existing claim and has been assigned to a particular court. For claims using the money claims online the court is the County Court Business Centre until it is transferred out to a local court. If there's no existing claim you can issue at your local County Court assuming they have jurisdiction to hear your application.

Claim number: As above, that depends on whether there is an existing claim related to the application.

Level or judge: Depends what your application relates to. For most county court applications, a district judge is sufficient but if it is a really complex financial transaction, you might want a circuit judge. For an application to the High Court, that would likely be a Master.

Suggest you also read the practice direction on N244 applications. https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...t23/pd_part23a

Otherwise, all of the above is subject to change depending on the reason for the application.

All that seems to be about using the form in relation to a debt. It's not what I'm after.

          No matter, I'll keep looking.

          Thanks

No it doesn't relate to debt, it relates to N244 applications generally.

I'm afraid you are very unlikely going to find what your looking for on the internet because every application is unique and needs to be tailored to your specific issue. Unless you pay for a solicitor (who will need to know the reason for the application like I've mentioned several times already) I think you'll find yourself stuck.

Like I said in an earlier post, completing an N244 form really isn't that difficult and is very much straight forward. However, good luck with your search.
