  • Which form for County Court non-money claim?

    Hi all,

I am wanting to issue a claim for something other than money and am unsure which form I should be using....I am unsure if I should just be using the N1 or if it is a Part 8 claim, so form N208?

The claim is for goods that I purchased. I do not simply want a refund; I want the goods that I purchased.

Please could somebody confirm which form is the correct one.

    Thanks in advance.

If it's a non-money claim where you just want a decision of the court then a Part 8 claim could be used - is it the sort of goods which could easily be provided (rather than something bespoke or rare ?).

      Hi,

      Thanks for your response.

Yes, the goods could be easily be provided. It is some irreplaceable photographs, which is why I don't just want a refund.

Many thanks for your assistance with this...I'll get on with filling in the N208 now :o)

        Hi,

        Just a quick one...

If I also want to claim a partial refund and damages, do I need to pay a money claim fee too? Also, can it form part of the Part 8 claim or would it need to be a separate claim on N1?

        Thanks
