  • Application to set judgement aside / n244 ccj

    Hi,

I’m wondering if someone can help me.
I logged into Experian and saw I had a CCJ against my name from a parking company.
i didn’t receive court papers but I did receive initial parking ticket and ignored it cause I thought it would go away.
so I called up and the lady on the phone refused to speak to me because I apparently didn’t give her the right sdddrss and didn’t pass Data protection. Long story short they mixed up my address and didn’t include my flat name, I am guessing this is why I didn’t receive any court proceedings.
My question is when I get called in to defend myself, is it enough to say that they put the wrong address so I didn’t receive the notices. Is that enough as a defence to get the CCJ removed?? At this point I don’t mind paying them the money but I just need to get the CCJ taken off as I genuinely didn’t receive court proceedings due to th
    eir negligence.

    thsnk you
