Just received letter attached saying I got a CCJ due to none payment of a Yorkshire bank credit card but I did not receive any correspondence previously from them. Last I spoke to Marlin and offered them a settlement figure and they was getting back to my by phone. This is the first thing i got its been to court and i lost and have to pay an additional £540.
Any suggestions ?

IT says on the letter You have not replies to the claim form ??
What claim form ?
This is the first I know about any CCJ.
Last 2 times I spoke to Marlin I offered them £2000 as a full and final settlement for this yb visa wish I am told is not a secured loan and they rang me back saying no so I offered £2500 and asked if thats a no what would they take as a settlement .
i was told i would here back in due course.
As far I was aware I was paying £50 a month and i did not realise the default. I'm more than happy to double this payment to £100 a month if need be.
I've heard nothing back and have received no correspondence regarding this matter .
if i had i would have emailed as i am doing now for my records.
the CCJ just seems like a bulling way to get the money even though i have never refused to make payment or have been resent new payment details to send payments to .

Can we get the CCJ lifted and carry on with payments or the settlement offer that I was never replied to or do you suggest I get legal advice?.
Any suggestions ?
