Howdy all,
I've had a look around the site already and pulled out some good advice - so thanks so far.
My story - if your sitting comfortable - I'll begin.
Received a pre claim letter from Mortimer Clarke stating "We ask you to pay the sum of £xxxxx direct to this office within 14 days of the ate of this letter, failing which, we have been instructed by our client to issue a claim against you in the County Court for the full balance..."
Whilst the letter does include a sum and name of the loan company, however it doesn't include any dates of when the load was taken out and for the life of me I can't remember it... Checking places like clear score, etc. don't appear to show this loan on them.
Having read the advice here I've send MC an acknowledgment letter, sent Cabot a CCA request and MC has recived the letter with the opening remarks of "As the letter contains a threat of litigation".
.. What now? I
