if a court case has been issued then on hold is not the case as the court timetable has started, Restons and a lot of the other cowboys try and get you to believe they hold the proceeding = they do not, follow all court timetables/request.

The POC are really very sparse and realistically you could only ask for the details of the assignment and the agreement.

I would write back ( if you can be bothered) and point out you are asking for documents you have a right to inspect and in the normal course of events they would have been attached to the claim. You can add that what you may, or may not have in your possession is really of no concern of theirs. Finally add you would be grateful if they would comply with your CPR request to provide details of the assignment and a copy of the agreement.

          Hi all,

it's been awhile. This is where I'm at with MCOL:

Your acknowledgment of service was received on 30/05/2017 at 01:09:33

Your defence was submitted on 25/06/2017 at 22:35:34

Your defence was received on 26/06/2017 at 08:01:53

I've heard nothing more from Restons or Arrow Global. Surely by now one of them should have responded to my defence? Should I just leave it or are they still in their time limit for replying?

          Many thanks,

              Hi Mike,

thank you for your reply. I've been trying to work out what stayed means. I'm sorry to ask - if you don't mind could you explain it to me?

              Many thanks,

Re: Court Claim Reston Solicitors/Arrow Global

means that the other side have not submitted their defence etc so the case is "Stayed" parked up, they if so have to pay a fee to unstay it to continue if they so wish to!
