I am now going to start and prepare my defence i know there is a template letter and reword it, on the claim form am i right to fill out (defence and counterclaim form N9B and then send them both off to court?
I am also starting to panic if i defend the claim does that mean i would have to go to court?

Well that's good new Sean, obviously Carboot has nothing to back up the claim!!

It would be worth checking your credit reference files as Cabot have a tendency to update with their costs added to the debt, which is not on as the claim failed.

I am registered with www.noddle.co.uk and the Balance is £684 last updated was 30/09/2016.

Also while battling this claim i received another county court claim from Lowell Portfolio LTD - Cohen Cramer Solicitors. i have already acknowledged the claim and already sent a CCA request with £1 postal order 1st class recorded delivery which was sent on 19th. do i need to open a new thread about this claim?

Hello Sean,

" Fidelite " were call ScotCall previous they specialise in " home visits to help you pay your debt" !

Please not you do not have to speak / interact with their clowns, they are not bailiffs and have no legal authority whatsoever, the cannot enter your property or refuse to leave when ordered so to do.

Easily dealt with all you tell them is " go away or you will be removed by whatever means I deem necessary".

You can also tell Carboot that you will not discuss anything with such a caller any such visit after receipt of this letter will be treated as harassment and suitable action will be taken.
