Standard letter Dave just stick to the court's timetable to ensure no judgment by default...

What do I do if I don't get any letters back from bw legal stu? Will I have to pay the amount in full?

Re: Lowell Portfolio , BW Legal county court form, need advice

Did you send the CCA request Dave?

From that letter that is their response to the CPR request!!

If you don't get anything back which I very much doubt you will, you will need to file your defence on MCOL ... the defence templates are at the top of the page in green on the forum "Received a court claim" but filing a defence is just part of the process...

You did acknowledgement of service didn't you?

The date of default 7/6/2011 and the date of assignment 10/6/2011 and the last order on the account was August 2010 suggest the account is not SB so hoping they fail to supply the relevant docs

Don't worry about that letter it's just to try and put the frighteners on you and make you rush into paying

Just stick to your court time table my guess is you won't receive anything in regards to your CCA/CPR request so just start planning your defence which need to be in early August ...

                    Hi dieseldave

I believe, when you first posted, various people advised you to acknowledge service.
Are you saying you have not already done so?
Your post #20 states that you did.
If, as you have previously posted, the claim issue date was 5th July, the 33 days are up on Sun Aug 7th, so the following Monday will be the last day to submit a defence (4pm, I think).
Unless they have agreed to a 28 day extension, which is not mentioned in any of the letters BW have sent/you posted on here.
Btw, did you get proof of posting for all your letters?

                              Yep.

Cross-refer it with reference to the CCA request sent to the solicitor (date of letter, date of posting, etc)
In any case, the solicitor should have passed the original to their client - you could ask if that was done.
If not, what has happened to the original £1 payment?
