CCJ On Credit File for Debt Enforcement & Action Limited

Good morning fine folks,

I recently registered for Credit Expert to check the ins and outs of my credit file and noticed that I have a CCJ on there for £237 and from emailing the relevant court they have told me that it is with Debt Enforcement & Action Limited. From googling this company, it seems as though it is a Parking Company, but I have never had any correspondence from them!?

The date of the judgment is 27th April 2015. I am a little worried about bailiffs turning up etc. Could anyone give me some information on the steps to take? Looking at the information that is at the top of the forum, it will cost me more to go to court than it would to pay the bill. But then I'd obviously have a CCJ to my name for the next 6 years!! Really confused about what to do!? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Get the details from the court, including where the claim was served (posted to).

Obviously depending on the facts, you might get the costs back but the main question of the value of a set aside is whetehr the CCJ on your file is, or is likely to be, an issus between now and 2021.
