  • Cabot sent claim form by restons solicitors

    Hi everyone,
    I have catalogue account with JD Williams in 2008
    My ex operating it she does online shopping before we split she put my account in red line credit line reach to end and I owe nearly 2000£s which was irritating somehow I continue to pay but stop it altogether in 2013 maybe in November not sure exact
    Date now I got county claim from Restons solicitors on behalf of Cabot financial please help me on this
    I know have to acknowledge it first than should I defend the claim
    Plz guide me step by step

          Are you saying you opened the account or your ex opened it on your behalf, with or without your knowledge.

          was the money spent with or without your knowledge?

          Are you and you ex on reasonable terms or is it all out war?

          sorry to be intrusive, just need the full picture.
          If your ex did it without consent there is possibility of contacting action fraud but that would probably damage any relationship you have left.
