Hi All,
In July last year I had a court claim from Cabot regarding a barclaycard. Thanks to all the helpful folks on here I followed the advice I was given and eventually received a letter from Cabot saying the account was unenforceable.
I have just received a new claim from Hoist Portfolio (Solicitors are Howard Cohen and co) regarding the same account.
The total claimed is just under 7k. The particulars say the debt was legally assigned by MKPD LLP(ex barclaycard).
I would appreciate advice as to how I should proceed. Should I use the same procedure as I did before or should I mention the fact that Cabot had previously acknowledged the debt was unenforceable in my defence.
Thanks for reading.
