Hello again, I was just reading a couple of other threads. As a result would like to ask a question or 2 :tinysmile_grin_t:

Throughout my case with Hoist. I have followed the "procedures" and currently as you well know am now in process of writing my witness statement.

                  1. One thread I looked at they asked on I think 2 occasions for CCA and CPR 31.14..they were not supplied hence their case being discontinued. I only have asked once and have a letter from the other side :0) acknowledging this. But have yet to receive any of this information. My question is this - was me asking the once sufficient? Should I ask again?

                  2. This may seem like a dumb question, but from reading lots of threads etc it seems to me that early on it is fairly obvious the outcome of a lot of these cases (discontinued etc) Yet claimants still continue to pursue these claims right until the very end. Do they hope that in doing so for every few that are discontinued there may be that 1 that they win?

Thanking you for reading...hope you all have a good day. P x

hope the peep gives in - also there is a deadline to get back their money they have paid into court for the case (fee) comes to mind.

Should I send letter to both hoist and their solicitors? And should letter ask for both CCA CPR 31.14?

                        Thankyou Pancho x

If you have already sent a CCA and CPR request there is no need to do it again.

                              Good morning

Just nosing through my file that I have about this claim.

When it came to the request for CPR31-14 I received acknowledgment from Hoists solicitors regarding this. I never did get any documents from them.

The CCA I sent requests to Hoist - never got an acknowledgement back and am now convincing myself that should I have sent it to their solicitors instead....

                              Am I being a numpty...?

Good morning - hope everyone is ok.

Wondering if anyone can tell me if the request for CCA which I sent to Hoist Portfolio should have gone to their solicitors... I ask as I have not even had an acknowledgement from Hoist re CCA. And it is getting to the time where I should be constructing my defence.
I did send things recorded delivery and I checked the PO and the request for CPR and CCA were both signed for. As stated I did get a letter back from Hoists solicitors acknowledging my CPR 31-14 request but nothing from Hoists re the CCA request.
Oh a second question - re the defence is it best to get it in as early as possible or is 2 weeks before hearing ample?

Thankyou in advance for any help re this.
