  • CCJ Advice

    Hi all,

I already have a thread open, but this is slightly different advice, hope you can help?

I received a judgement of order to pay an old overdraft debt, the judgement is dated 19th December and its ordered that I pay £3232.28 by the 11th January 2016.

I just rang the courts to find out when i would need to pay the full amount to avoid a CCJ being on my file for six years and she said that I was already out of time, that it was 28 days from the dart of the hearing which was on the 4th December and the CCJ once paid would only show as satisfied.

will not still affect my credit rating and if I did try for a set aside would this reset the time limits so I could avoid a CCJ on my file?

    I await your advice?

    Many thanks

You ask for a certificate of satisfaction, this will be entered on the record of judgements and the credit files will show the judgement as satisfied.
