It always LOOKS good if you tick yes to mediation (if they provide no paperwork or provide something that PROVES it's SB'd then mediation wouldn't go ahead anyway ... you'll get a chance to tell the mediation team this at a later date) xx

Advice needed please. I recieved a call from the meditation team today and stated that the debt was statued barred so she said mediation would be unsuitable.
Got home this morning received a letter from Northampton court informing me the claimant has not filed their dq.
i have checked money claims online and have listed all the info below. What will happen next?

Please help, according to noddle I defaulted on this agreement on 21/6/10 not when I first thought! Court date set for 17th may it states on my letter from the court that the claimant (Lowell) should send me copies of all documents on which they intend to rely on at the hearing no later than 10th March, I have received nothing.
not sure what to do I am tempted to call Lowell and try and make an offer to settle just to put an end to it.

Ok Lowell has not complied with the court order to disclose documents.

Best approach ring the court to see if anything has been filed there's a bit of a backlog in the system so be on the safe side before making any decisions.

I rang the court and the lady I spoke to was very unhelpful and suggest I wait and see if anything turns up!

That's not the usual response I guess you got someone on a bad day or just about to knock off for the day, not good imo.
7 days late are they not? I didn't think the backlog in the system was that bad.
If you can try again just after 1000hrs in the morning possibly a better response.
