    hi has anybody got an idea where i go from here ? ive sent my defence letter to the court and i now have received a reply attached saying the court as received my defence and bryan carter solicitors may get in touch with me to make an arrangements ? , what will happen now please if no one contacts me ? thanks pat

    Hi standard reply Carter has 28 days to respond to your defence, if Carter does not respond in time the court will stay the claim.
    However you will not be informed so if you don't hear anything from him check with the court for information just after the 28 days expire.

          NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
          Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

          Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

          If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
