Thanks Flaming Parrot. I just logged onto MCOL. The defence was received on 21st Sept although it was sent on the 18th. Is this going to be OK?

It should be fine, it has been accepted which is what matters so they can't request default judgment. :thumb:

Now they'll have 28 days to respond and say whether the intend to take it further, otherwise the claim will be stayed but you won't be informed if that's the case. :ohwell:

I rang the court last week and they had confirmed that the case had been stayed. I got a letter from the solicitors asking me to withdraw my defence. Having been away since, I came home to a letter from the solicitors saying that they'd been provided with the CCA from the OC. They sent my a copy of a CCA (pages 1 and 2 of 4). There are terms and conditions and a statement of transactions and a couple of statements. The card number on the transactions doesn't match the card number on statements and there are over £1900 worth of monthly charges. My question is whether the CCA provided is good enough. There's no account number on it. Is there a list of things that make it valid? My 14 days to respond will be up by Tuesday and if I don't then they will apply for stay to be overturned. Can you suggest my next step?

I'm sorry to keep asking, but need some advice on what to do. If the above agreement is enforceable, should I offer to make a payment or should I let it go to court. Hoping someone can help, I need to get the letter posted tomorrow.
