HELP needed with lowell portfolio

i need help with credit aggrement from welcome finance back in 2007 when i took out, basically i lost my job told them i could pay £100 a month instead of £189 they agreed this was with lewis group at the time so i continued to pay them then in july of 2009 they told me that if i pay £2000 pound i could loose the dept i had untill the end of august to reply that month they reposesed the car and sold it for £1800 pound i had charges from my insurer for £150 for ending insurance early and cancelling i tried to explain that i dont owe the dept of £4283 as of today in august 2009. lewis group told me they were no longer dealing with it,havent heard anything untill recently when i had a court letter from lowells saying i had to go to court at nothhampton nov 2014 i sent them the letter from this site stating i need the original documents as stated in credit consumer act 1974 sections 77-79 and enlosed a fee this was 01 december 2014 still not had those documents they took me to have a hearing for mediation which i declined and had it moved to birmingham i have just recieved the letter below today and would like your kind advice on how and what i can do to move forward all your advice would be greatly appreciated .

LETER BELOW SAYS

1I HAVE SEVEN DAYS FROM TODAY TO FILE A DEFENCE AND SERVE COMPLYING WITH CPR16.5 FAILING WHICH HIS DEFENCE AS IT STANDS SHALL BE STRUCK OUT AND THE CLAIMANT WILL BE AT LIBERTY TO ENTER JUDGE MENT

2 THIS ORDER HAS BEEN MADE BY THE COURT OF ITS OWN INITIATIVE UNDER CPR 3.3 ANY PARTY AFFECTED BY THIS ORDER MAY APPLY
TO HAVE IT SET ASIDE VARIED OR STAYED WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE DATE ON WHICH THE ORDER IS SERVED ON THAT PARTY .

Sorry your post seems to have been missed.

Did you receive a claim, did you acknowledge service?

If you do not live in Northampton you would not have to attend court the NCCBC is a bulk handling administration court.

What defence other than non production of the agreement do you have.
Did you receive any correspondence from Birmingham CC?

You need to get a defence sorted 1 copy for the claimant one for the court and a copy for your self asap.
Google CPR16.5 it will show you what is required it is self explanatory.
