For Information I asked Sue I help was needed with a letter to MKDP et al in regard to her
fathers health and finances to support his defence in this case.
I have drafted a letter for Sue but as it contains sensitive health and financial information
it will not appear on the open forum.

                  nem.

Sue your father is a veteran and as such may be able to get help in many ways, for example the Royal British Legion and SSAFA have many schemes as do Regimental Associations.

Just an update a lot has been going on behind the scenes since the last post on here.

I've just heard from Sue that MKDP has withdrawn the claim.
I'm sure Sue will add more later.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Nem for all his advise and help without him I would have caved in but with his tireless help and pointing in the right direction today a email was received confirming that the legal action has been withdrawn and it has been passed back to collections

I would say to anyone it is a very scary experience but with the help and guidance from the people on this forum who work non stop to help it is made a much easier and knowledgeable experience.

So a very big thank you to all the people who take the time to help but especially to Nem

                              Always happy to help Sue!
I think we can soon be rid of MKDP completely, their approach is flawed and I have no idea what they expect to achieve now they have seen sense on the CC claim,
We know the situation will never improve ( unfortunately for your dad) and with all the evidence you worked so hard to gather in front of them I just can't see their objective with the " on hold" for 3 months.
                              Blo**y madeness.

                              Have a good weekend!
