Hi Amethyst its going well thanks.
ive had letter back from court saying they have received my defence and that they have sent a copy to wilkin chapman
and that if they don't here anything back it will be stayed not sure if that's good ore not.

then yesterday i got letter of wilkin chapman say they have received my documents from court and went on to say that they said it could take up to six weeks and that time has not yet elapsed and will be in touch once they receive original documents.

think they thought they would get a default judgement and they tried to con me saying that there letter [as previous post] was good enough to show court that they agreed a extension when it wasn't.

is it getting stayed a good thing?

will keep you informed as things progress
thanks to everyone for help so far

It's just standard court procedure, your defence has to be sent to the other side and they have 28 days to respond and say whether they wish to continue with the claim or not, if they don't respond the case is stayed. For now we just have to play it by ear and see what they do.

hello its been a while since i last posted on this subject but I've heard nothing of anybody regarding this matter for 10months then 2 weeks ago i go a letter and a cheque for £ 50 allegedly from sainsburys saying they charged me £50 which they should of not charged me in 2009 and have your money back, smelling a rat i dint bank it then today i got another letter saying they have noticed i have not cashed the cheque and please cash it. don't understand there interest if i cash cheque or not.
is this a new kind of tactic so they can say i accept i have a debt with them,
          would appreciate your thoughts,
