  • Advice needed please

Firstly This is my first post so hello to everyone!

my husband has just received a claim form from the CCBC, this is for a bump that he had in his car months ago, his insurance company declined the claim as the damage costs being claimed for didn't reflect the accident he had, we provided photo evidence to tesco insurance on the 18th June and the claim is dated 20th June, it was a company van that was involved and the man driving it said he had a previous accident and the driver failed to stop. We think they are claiming for the previous damage, any help would be appreciated.

If I have understood your post correctly, the third party has (in your insurer's opinion) inflated their claim against your husband to cover damage which was pre-existing and on that basis they have declined it?If that is right, he should just need to get in touch with his insurer and they will deal with the claim against your husband. He needs to do that immediately though.

Thanks stevemLS, my husband has contacted Tesco insurance and they will be dealing with it, it was just a shock to receive such a thing, it's the society we live in these days, the claim culture :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

      Many thanks
