hi all.i am new to the forum but admire all you do.i have received a court summons from mkdp.for 4600 this debt is from 2006/7 i believe this to be statute barred.that is the defence i have sent to the court at northampton.i know mkdp put a default on my credit file in 09.but never received anything from them or hsbc.i sent a sar to hsbc they sent my postal order back saying i had not signed it .which i did not want to do.i also sent cca andcredit agreement request to mkdp they answered saying it could take 8 weeks.they also said they would not be seeking to enter judgment in this time.i should also say i have made no payments or contact with anyone over this account for over 6 years.northampton court have sent my defence to mkdp and said they have 28 days to respond. what should i now do .thankyou.in anticipation.

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service
Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)
If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
