  • County court summons from Capquest vodafone

    Hi everyone

My Brother received County Court summons from county court bulk centre from Northampton today..dated 1/10/13
for the amount of 499.99 plus 30 court fee and 50 solicitors fees .total £579.99, it is in reference to a Vodafone contract.

He is really worried and doesnt want a CCJ. He doesnt know from how long ago this is from, on the summons it says that capquest were assigned the debt on the 23 Aug 10.

He says he cant remember taking out a vodafone contract?

Please can anyone help with what to do?

    Thanks

Did he ever have a phone on the Vodaphone network I find it hard tom believe he cannot remember,if he received letters from capquest did he not wonder what it was all about.
first thing he needs to do is find out if he was with vodaphone

Or if Crapquest had merely chased someone with a similar name to a Vodaphone subscriber.

The other possibility would be identity "theft" or fraud.

You keep coming on to say you can help never come back to say what happened so others know the answers?

Taking into account of the number of threads on LB that you have become involved in how many times have vodaphone come down on the side of the Poster and how many as in where they are disputing money owed does Vodaphone admit a mistake, you can give these figures without any of us knowing who was the OP
