  • npower warrant of execution

    Hello

I have a debt with Npower for gas and electricity , i have been unable to make payments on it and the totla is now £3300 , they have said they will go for a warrant of execution on 12 th august and execute on 17th august to install prepayment meters , is there any way i can attend the hearing for the warrant and is there anything i can say to not get it issued , i can pay them £1000 on 15th of september , but npower are saying i need to pay it before warrant is issued . i really dont want a prepayment unless i absolutely have to

Have you had repayment plans agreed with them boefore you have not been able to stick to?

As far as I'm aware you can attend, but as regards what you could say, we need much more information. Alternatively, as time is of the essence, find a local solicitor who gives the first session free and go and see them. This would perhaps be your quickest way to a definitive answer.

prepayment meters aren't so bad these days, they are no longer set at a higher cost per unit.
End of the day, the debt is probably not going to go away, and at least if you have a meter you know you won't be able to rack up any more debt to them.
        Is no longer here
