  • Employer is sueing me for overpayment they made to me

    Hi, sorry my employer has decided to sue me for their mistake in overpaying me when I was on sick.

    They ignor letters I send then just reply when they feel like with threat
    Now today I have letter from the court

    Help anybody

      No, i was on sick and only went back to work full time this week

      I did tell them I would pay when back working with an agreed repayment then

      i really hate this

        Scott, are you in any union at work? Please consult them because they are not allowed to take everything back in one go. They aren't a bank and I hope you have kept copies, dates etc, etc, as to when you wrote to them.
        Furthermore, you have every right to admit the claim and work with them to discuss a reasonable payment plan to return the money as you are now working full time.

          I have copies of all letters, from them and sent to them. Never phoned them. They have already taken some ssp from me without notice
