Re: Questions about a claim against me/possible CCJ
Further to this, I have now been offered an agrement to pay £20 a month to settle the claim, without a CCJ being filed. (Charges/fees have been dropped, and the original CCA has been produced).
This doesn't seem unreasonable to me - however, I have to sign something called a 'consent order' and withdraw my defence.
Can anyone advise if there is any reason not to agree to a consent order?
Also, will the creditor have the right to ask for an attachment of earnings, or can that only be achieved through a CCJ?
Many Thanks again.
