  • Link court claim

Hello my first post so please be easy on me if I make a mistake.

I have been taken to court by Link Financial who claim to have bought a GE debt.

While asking for documents under court disclosures Iwas shocked to find that 'secret commissions' had been paid on setting up this unsecured loan.

Link are intent on getting judgement against me and have stated that once they get judgement they will immediately apply for a charging order against our house. They even sent me a letter to sign agreeing to the claim so to save court costs as they feel I have no basis to defend their claim.

There is disputed PPI mis selling with GE and this is currently with the FOS.

I have been trying to find a solicitor to defend this claim but so far have been unable to find one - Links total claim is for £9,000.

    Thank you
