dropping it off tomorrow at the court, will let you know what happens. If the judge agrees with the direction, will he contact me, and is the ball then in my court to start the mediation? Thanks for your help on this, I would have paid up ages ago and not had the slightest idea on getting this far!

Dropped it off, and the court says as of now, they have not received anything from CL who also had to today to respond. However, they also now tell me that they won't process today's post until next Monday! AaRghgh!!!!

I am just amazed at how slow the courts are - CL could still have responded today, but no one will know for a week! seems bizarre...

So it seems CL did respond, but 2 days late. I talked to the court and they said that this is acceptable from them, but would not have been so from me! The matter is now still with the judge and I should hear in 10 days!! This seems so unfair and biased towards them.

Do I have to show the court any action on my part at all? If I just wait for them, can the judge accuse me of not trying to resolve this as I have said I would like to?

Well you have already requested the relivant documentation from them and they have refused, so no worries there.

Hi, got a letter back offering to settle at half the original amount, so about £996 if I pay in full by 20 Nov. Will scan the letter later, any thoughts? thanks

So have the actually complied with your previous CPR request and sent you copies of the agreement etc ??
