I need some advice please. On the 18 July bailiffs visited my business address with a high court writ. At the time I felt intimidated by them and paid them an amount off the debt. However, since the visit I have thoroughly read the paperwork they left. The company shown does not and never has traded from the address on the letter, it is registered to a different address. Consequently, the company operating from the current address has and has never had any association with the other company. My name appears as I was a director of the other company and am currently a director of the one registered at this address, which by the way is leased.
They are due to visit again on Tuesday to request the balance of the debt or remove goods. They left a blank Control of Goods document but still insist they can remove what they like. I have already shown them the current company documents and a copy of the lease but was told they are irrelevant to the debt.
I have tried contacting the original creditor and the bailiffs in an attempt to resolve this issue but they don't or won't help.
    What are my options please?
