Hi everyone, first time poster in urgent need of advice and/or help!
I've received a 'claim form' from County Court Business Centre over an unpaid parking fine from Feb 2020.
I received a strongly worded letter about 6 weeks(?) ago which told me I was on my final chance to pay before they take me to court. I no longer have this letter as i thought it was a scam as I sold that car in March that year.
However, I have now received a letter from DCB Legal LTD stating that they have issued a 'Particulars of Claim' to reclaim their costs of £276.72 (£85 legals fees), front page attached for ref: https://ibb.co/dLMNdDJ. I've also never agreed to point for in the PoC, i'm not sure if that matters?
At the time I worked for Sky next to Goals Football and I remember parking on this spot as i was advised by security to do so because our on-site parking was full, and they had assigned spaces at Goals for Sky employees. Apparently not all spots are for Sky staff.
I would really appreciate some advice as to what to do here, as, after reading through the forums, they are quite confusing and complex.
Any ideas?
