  • PCN court letter for a vehicle that wasn't mine

    Hi

I received a county court letter for two PCNs from 2017. I have spoken to DVLA to enquire why my details were held for this car and they said to send a letter in stating I was not the keeper of the car for them to remove my details, but this may take up to 6 weeks and I've done the AOS on moneyclaim.gov.uk which only gives me until 10th January. So I'm worried they won't get back to me in time.

Is there a way to get an extension because I need more time for DVLA to get back to me?

Also - it escalated to court action because I assumed any previous correspondence was phishing/scam as I never owned this vehicle.

So part of yoour defence that you were never owner or keeper of the vehicle in question.

It would be an idea to get all the documents that they are using. Hopefully you will spot the mistake.

ostell Hi, after doing my acknowledgment of service letter to the court, my date was set to Jan 7 or 10th and I haven’t heard anything back from ukpc after send SAR and CPR, including Dvla which said it can take up to 6 weeks.
Do I need to email Traffic Enforcement Centre
          tec@justice.gov.uk for an extension?
