  • Litigant in person

Having previously been represented in a financial remedy action due to cost I am now a litigant in person. The other parties solicitor is now threatening me with costs as they are having to pay a solicitor and stating I will need pay for additional time there client may incur as I am un represented. In addition they are trying to make me agree to their terms on this basis. In addition they are suggesting that I cant pursue my case and if I do their costs will increase. I am the respondent. I thought solicitors were under a strict code of coduct?
