  • Parking ticket

Hi everyone. I recently received a parking ticket, letter before action and so on. A couple of months ago I actually reached out via email to VCS explaining reasons why I shouldn’t pay the amount they wanted but I was willing to working with them if so. I didn’t receive any reply for a month and then received a letter from solicitors wanting the payment, I contacted them and acknowledged it but explained I would not pay it. I then recieved a letter from court expanding the steps be a court claim. I then once again logged in with the details they supplied to acknowledge the claim which gives me extra time to start my defence and so nothing goes further for now. I am wondering if anyone could help me map out my defence please. Would be greatly appreciated

So you have the lesser of 28 days from acknowledgement or 33 days from date of issue to get your defence to court.

it is difficult to provide help for a defence when nothing is known. Post up a redacted copy of the initial Notice to Keeper you received, but leave dates.

Some of your letters might ge helpful.

I would suggest you start a thread in the pepipoo forum
