  • Letter for Court from Ireland

I moved to England following the crash (2014) and had an outstanding loan that I was no longer able to pay and made no further payments since then. I’ve now had letters from the creditors solicitors for the last few months and in the last week court papers. Theses are addressed to me in the UK but with my maiden name. My question is what will be the process for them to enforce? If the Irish courts give a judgement will it appear on my UK credit file and will it be enforced here?

You should submit a defence stating the debt is statute barred. Provided no payment has been made since 2014?
