I've just received a letter of claim from these. It's in my husband's name and we have never heard of the company before. They are saying we owe £256.18p I don't know what to do. Help

So a letter to whoever issued the letter telling them to prove it as you deny any knowledge of this debt.

This looks like it could be a parking company. Who is the claimant?

Is the address on the V5 for any car correct and have you moved recently?

They're a firm of solicitors who do claims management work. There's been quite a few people who have been receiving surprise bills from them for claims management work they claim they have done.

Did you or your husband ever fill out a 'free PPI check' promotion on Facebook? And have you made a successful PPI claim yourself?

No we have never claimed PPI.

Ok have you actually received a claim from the court or just a letter from IG threatening one?
